LogoLink's Newsletter December 2011 Issue: The LogoLink Network and the Ongoing Revolutions

12/26/11

LogoLink is proud to announce that the December 2011 issue of its Newsletter is online.

This is a special issue, dedicated to LogoLink's contribution to the public debate on the ongoing revolutions. LogoLink believe such ongoing social mobilizations around the world can be interpreted as an expression of the desire of many for a more participatory and inclusive relationship between those who govern and those who are governed. Thus, such events can be understood as a manifestation of the demand for socio-political transformations that may assure citizen participation, social control and the socialization of decision-making processes.

The newsletter aims at creating a space to disseminate knowledge produced within the network and to debate current challenges of local governance, democratic accountability and citizen participation. We hope it will inspire innovative and transformative actions.
