Translation of the South Asian Report on Legal Frameworks for Citizen Participation

The South Asia Regional Report on Legal Framework for Citizen Participation is an unique study in its nature as it has made an in-depth analysis of the frameworks of the Local self-governing institutions in the South Asian Region with more emphasis on policy and practices from one nation to another and will be much use in the region as it sets models to analyse and adopt.

Its dissemination among practitioners, researchers and planners in the region is crucial. The report is currently available only in English which is very useful to reach institutions, but will be soon translated into Hindi and into Bengali and Nepalese so that it can be disseminated more widely and be more suitable to local needs.
